CBJ Event: China & Trade Symposium

May 26, 2021 @ 5:00 am - 7:00 am

$50

The Corridor Business Journal’s virtual event invites a keynote and panel discussion to give an in-depth look at the dynamic and changing geopolitical relationship with China, especially considering the Midwest’s important trading role.

Keynote speaker Terry E. Branstad is the former U.S. ambassador to China and the longest-serving governor in American history. Ambassador Branstad served as U.S. ambassador to China during one of the most challenging periods in recent U.S.-China history since the two countries re-established diplomatic relations in 1979.

Following Ambassador Branstad’s remarks, a group of China experts, exporters and economists will participate in a panel discussion. Panelists include:

Mary E. Lovely, Ph. D – Professor of economics at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and public affairs and senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

Sarvjeev S. Sidhu, CFA – Head of emerging markets strategy and senior portfolio manager at Aegon Asset Management.

Doug Hundt – President, industrial at Vermeer.

Seema Shah – Chief strategist at Principal Global Investors.

Tickets are $50 for livestream access. For more information or to register, visit corridorbusiness.com/china-trade-symposium. Registration ends May 24.
