Marc Schneider from ISU’s CIRAS will share helpful tips and best practices about how to make informed, strategic decisions and limit risks when selling internationally.
Marc has more than 25 years experience in managing multi-national and local operations and professional workforces in North America, Australia, Southeast Asia, Korea, and Greater China supporting computer/high-tech, industrial goods, aerospace, automotive, construction equipment, consumer goods, apparel, and wine and spirits industries. This experience includes profit and loss management, project implementation, supply chain management; and design of transport networks, warehouse layouts, Lean process flows, and domestic and international supply chains. He has extensive project management experience, including facility sale and leaseback, mergers and acquisitions, company integrations, system deployments, facility start-up, and logistics program implementation. Today Marc provides project management and support to manufacturers across Iowa, who aim to create growth and performance improvements. Areas of specialization include supply chain management (reshoring, procurement, inventory management, risk management, transportation, warehousing, and international logistics), import/export growth and support, and Lean manufacturing/supply chain management.
